TASK 10. From your research, identify which of the vehicles you would prefer to own/drive and find the vehicle measurements. Draw a scale floor plan of a garage (3.5m x 6.3m) with the selected vehicle in the garage to confirm that it would fit. Show the scale and the actual measurements on the plan. This can be drawn on computer or by hand. If drawn on computer, print a hard copy .
TASK 11. Your vehicle has a fuel tank with an approximate capacity as follows:
Truck – 155 gallons
Car – 10 gallons
Motorcycle – 3 gallons
How much would it cost to fill up with petrol/diesel at an average price of 90p per litre? All calculations to be shown. (See Helpsheet – Conversions ).
